Taking on the World might sound like an enormous task, but that's exactly what happened to the North America women's team this morning in Penticton at the Continental Cup curling competition.
The North American women's team includes skipper Jennifer Jones of Winnipeg who, according to a report from curling.ca is just getting back to the sport after giving birth to her first child in November. Round one of the competition ended with a score of 2.5 for the World and 0.5 for North America. Curling events continue at the South Okanagan Events Centre until Sunday.
