Community/Event Day Volunteers - Support the Canadian Cancer Society by helping out on the day of events. As Community/Event Day Volunteers you help out on the day of the events, either by staffing a table (For example during the Relay For Life, Tour de Valley, or the Daffodil Campaign). Residential Campaign Volunteers - Every year, the Canadian Diabetes Association runs their annual door-to-door fundraising Residential Campaign. Generous individuals from across the province make financial donations when volunteer canvassers knock on their doors. The money raised during this fundraiser goes towards research, advocacy and public educational programming which support individuals living with and affected by all three forms of Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational).
