Commander Hadfield lecture simulcast at Kamloops Science Centre

Commander Chris Hadfield’s lecture will be simulcast live AT BIG Little Science Centre, October 4 at 7:00pm!!!

Astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield will be the next speaker in the TRU President’s Lecture Series. This FREE lecture will be held October 4 at 7:00pm, in the Campus Activity Centre at Thompson Rivers University.

Canada’s most recent astronaut to spend an extended time in space, at the International Space Station, Commander Hadfield will be live and in person right here in Kamloops. Expected to fill the Grand Hall, space will be very tight on campus.

BIG Little Science Centre staff are pleased to announce that BIG Little Science Centre, located at 655 Holt Street, will be the North Shore location for a live stream / simulcast of Commander Hadfield’s speech.

Also free of charge, the lecture will be broadcast live right here on the North Shore. Susan Hammond, Assistant Operator BIG Little Science Centre, is very excited about this opportunity for residents north of the river. “The BIG Little Science Centre is a convenient, friendly and intimate location for north shore families to see this amazing speaker. Community members, who are unable to get to campus, are welcome to be part of this exciting event. Inspirational science speakers who are able to connect with the whole family and people of all ages are rare, this is a must see lecture!”
