KELOWNA - Apparently this guy doesn’t believe in divine retribution.

RCMP are looking for a man who assaulted a store clerk during the robbery of Loaves and Fishes Book and Church Supply yesterday afternoon, July 16.

The man came into the store around 1:30 p.m. and began helping himself to silver and gold crosses, pendants and rosaries from a display case. When the clerk tried to intervene, the man assaulted him.

The suspect took off with $3,000 worth of jewelry and fled on black bicycle westward down Lawrence Avenue.

He is described as Caucasian, around 30 years old and 6’ tall with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing a blue or grey striped shirt with a white collar.

The suspect also wore gloves, a toque and dark pants and carried a black backpack.

Kelowna RCMP ask that anyone with information about this crime call Const. Kevin Hamilton with the general investigation section at 250-470-6302.
