Bryan Adams fans will find Heaven and more at Prospera Place this winter

KELOWNA - Recording artist Bryan Adams will make a stop in Kelowna as he tours the country in January to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his multi-million selling album, Reckless.

The concert takes place January 15 at Prospera Place. It features a set dedicated to pieces included in the 1984 Reckless album, such as "One Night Love Affair", "Somebody", "Kids Wanna Rock", "Run to You" and "Summer of 69". The album is considered a turning point in Adam's career and also gave the artist his first U.S. Billboard hit, "Heaven" as well as a Diamond Award for over a million copies sold in Canada.

Adams has been in the music business for three decades with upward of 65 million records sold. His music is loved world-wide with #1 hits in 40 countries and has allowed him the privilege of touring six continents.

As well, Adams' work is popular and respected enough to be used for major motions pictures such as The Guardian and Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. As a result, Adams can also boast several Academy Awards, Golden Globes along with the Grammy's he's received; plus he also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was inducted into the Wembley's Square of Fame.

Tickets for the Reckless 30th Anniversary Tour go on sale Monday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Prospera Place box office, charged by phone at 250-762-5050 or found online at www.selectyourtickets.com. Prices including GST are $19.69, $45, $65 and $95. Seating is reserved for this all-ages event. Doors open at 7 p.m. Show starts at 8 p.m. Those who purchase tickets online will also get a CD of Adams' forthcoming album Tracks of My Years, scheduled for release Sept. 30.
