KAMLOOPS - If you’ve missed temperatures soaring into the mid-30s you’re in luck, we have several days of the high temperatures in store for us.

While Environment Canada is calling for a high of 29 Celsius today, June 3, temperatures are expected to be above the 30 C mark Saturday through Tuesday. Tomorrow the temperature is forecast to hit 33 C and on Sunday a high of 36 C is expected. The beginning of the week temperatures in the 32 C range are expected before cooling back off to temperatures in the high-20s.

The seasonal normal high for this time of year is 24 C and record highs range from 35 C to nearly 38 C for June 4 thorugh June 7.

Overnight temperatures are also expected to remain above the seasonal normal of 10 C, with lows varying from 13 C tonight to just 17 C Sunday night.

Along with the near-record heat we can expect lots of sunshine this weekend, with winds becoming 20 kilometres per hour gusting to 40 km/h today.
