Blazers reassign three players

Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers have reassigned three 16-year-olds today including goaltender Cole Kehler, forward Deven Sideroff and defenseman Cam Reagan. All three players are expected to play Midget AAA this season.

Kehler suited up in two WHL preseason games and had great numbers with a 1-1-0-0 record and a .923 save percentage. Sideroff and Reagan were both pointless in two WHL preseason games.

General Manager Craig Bonner commented on all three players: “Cole played very well in his two appearances. He does not turn 16 until December, and we feel it is important for him to play a lot this season. He has a bright future ahead of him.”

“Cam and Deven both performed well in training camp and in preseason games. We believe both Cam and Deven are integral parts of our future and will have plenty of opportunity to develop this upcoming season.”

The Blazers roster now sits at 24 players including two goaltenders, seven defensemen and 15 forwards.
