April showers for Kamloops this weekend

Wet weather will be back this weekend in Kamloops after some sunshine tomorrow, April 21, 2017.

KAMLOOPS - Best to keep the umbrella handy because the rain will be back this weekend in Kamloops.

Environment Canada says the periods of rain will end around noon today, April 20, changing to a 30 per cent chance showers for the afternoon and evening with a today of high of 15 Celsius. It will be mainly cloudy overnight with a low of 5 C.

The sun will come out tomorrow with the forecast calling for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 18 C. The clouds will clear in the evening making way for a clear night with a low of 5 C.

Saturday will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers throughout the day and overnight. The daytime high will reach 14 C while the overnight low is expected to drop to 4 C.

It will be a little more pleasant on Sunday with only a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 15 C. It will remain cloudy overnight with a low of 6 C.

The forecast into Monday and Tuesday calls for clouds and highs around 17 C.

Normal temperatures this time of year are highs of around 18 C and lows of 4 C.
