A bit of summer and a bit of spring this week in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - Kamloops will get a mix of two seasons this week, with both spring and summer weather.

Today, May 29, will be summer-like, with a high of 33 Celsius and sunny skies, according to Environment Canada. The clear skies will continue into the night, with an overnight low of 14 C.

Tomorrow clouds will begin to move in during the late morning and wind will pick up in the afternoon. A high of 28 is forecast. Overnight it’ll drop to 15 C as more cloud moves in.

Wednesday is forecast to be cooler, only 23 C for a high, with clouds and a 30 per cent chance of showers. That night the temperature will drop to 12 C, with clouds and a continued chance of showers.

Thursday the clouds and chance of showers will continue. A high of 22 C is forecast. The chance of showers will dissipate in the evening, with overnight lows of 11 C.

Friday will bring a mix of everything, with sun, cloud and a chance of showers. The high temperature is expected to reach 23 C. 

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs around 23 C and lows of about 10 C.
