29th Annual Business Excellence Awards

Thirty finalists were honoured at the 29th Annual Business Excellence Awards presented by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and Platinum Sponsors the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP on Thursday evening at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort.

Ten recipients, along with the 2016 Business Leader, were presented with awards among a crowd of almost 400 supporters.

Speeches by recipients were educational, heartfelt and meaningful and nominees everywhere were seen congratulating each other. From Two Hat: they've already eliminated over one million instances of online bullying, genocide, hate and rape from youth interactions on the Internet.

Tony Stewart, 2016 Business leader urged us to continue to invest in the Kelowna airport, and encourages the business community to support Sustainable development, long-term thinking and civic responsibility.

This year's Award Ceremony was a great reflection of the passion, entrepreneurial & community spirit of our region.
